PA, EA & Secretarial (Administration & Office Support)WERA Aotearoa Charitable Trust (WACT) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that provides health and social services to the communities in Rotorua and the wider Bay of Plenty. WACT is committed to the vision of communities solid, strong and self- supporting, representing our whanau, hapu, iwi and the boarder community. We work to support and enhance the health and wealth of families and their communities.The Executive Assistant will have excellent organisational skills and will demonstrate experience in a secretarial role. They will be intuitive to the needs of senior management and will be able to work autonomously to provide customised administrative support.KEY TASKS:Administration Support - Provides a high quality professional administrative service that are essential to the efficient operations of WACT, in a reliable and professional manner and according to the organisation's policies and procedures.Communication  - Demonstrates confidentiality, accountability and effective communication and interaction internally and externally in line with WACT's Culture Statements.Project ManagementQualifications -  The essential qualifications for the roleIs certified in secretarial work, office administrative, or related training.Clean criminal record.Clean full NZ driver's licence.NZ residencySpecific Skills and Abilities  - The essential and desirable skills required for this role and associated performance standards.Ability to retain confidentiality.Experience in working within Maori communities/organisations and in particular, hapu and iwi within the Rotorua and surrounding rohe.Ability to work in a tikanga Maori frameworkExperience/Knowledge  - The experience and knowledge necessary to perform this role.Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills.Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.Extensive experience in creating documents and spreadsheets, using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Advanced typing, note-taking, recordkeeping, and organisational skills.Shows ability to manage internal and external correspondence effectively.Is proficient in appointment scheduling software such as MS Outlook.Personal Attributes  - Typical personality attributes that are necessary to perform well in this role.Highly developed communication skills both written and oral.Shows drive and motivation.Encourages and motivates the team(s) and develops capability and potential in others.Excellent time management and workload prioritisation skills.Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.Effective skills in managing change processes involving consultation, planning and implementation.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to demonstrate whanaungatanga.Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?What is your availability for commencement?Are you available to travel for this role when required?Are you available to work outside of standard hours of work when required?Which languages are you fluent in?As part of our recruitment process, you may be required to attend a pre employment medical, drug & alcohol testing, and/or complete a medical check-list.
