Company DescriptionThe Faculty of Education and Social Work are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to join them on a 6 month contract to focus on a range of priority virtual and on campus events between now and the end of the year.Job DescriptionYou will be tasked with the successful deliver a range of approved events for the faculty and coordinate the faculty’s contribution to key University sponsored events to ensure event objectives are achieved.This will require you to;Coordinate the planning and delivery of all event related activities from coordinating and delivering the promotion plan with the Marketing Adviser through to implementation and delivery of the event and coordination of post event follow up including satisfaction surveys and marketing automation journeys.Track, coordinate and report on agreed budgets, develop and deliver on KPIs with event sponsors for each individual eventEnsure marketing, web and media opportunities connected to each event is optimised to improve the overall brand and customer experience.Coordinate the faculty contribution and support required for key University eventsWork closely with marketing to ensure potential event leads are followed up.QualificationsExperience / Skills requiredBachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualificationAt least two years’ experience organising and coordinating events including virtual eventsExperience organising or coordinating a range of large and small events with in a large complex organisation would be desiredComputer literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes.To be successful in this role you will be required to have strong relationship skills, motivation and enthusiasm to bring all stakeholders on board to deliver successful and engaging events along with strong project planning, coordinating and execution skills with a high attention to detail across the entire event experience..Additional InformationHow to applyApplications must be submitted online, by the closing date of Friday 10th July 2020 to be considered.
