Erector - Structural Steel

Full job description Full Time Permanent role 4 roles available 40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday Petone Engineering is experiencing growth and we are looking for experienced Site Erectors to join our team. The work will be based on construction sites around the Wellington region and requires candidates who have a good work ethic. As an Erector you will be working as part of our Site Team and your role will be to erect structural steel on construction sites, as defined by our specific project requirements. You will have to be confident at the full end-to-end process of erecting structural steel. Your role will include: Reading and interpreting shop drawings Erecting and placing structural steel members Drilling concrete structures Grinding and cutting steel components as required To be successful in this role you will have Experience within the Steel and/or Construction Industry 2+ Years expereince in the erection of steel or other similar structres e.g precast concrete Knowlede and expereince with Slinging Loads, Working at Heights and on Elevated Work Platforms Ability to use hand tools and power tools Work as part of a team and follow instructions Site Safe (we will help you get this if you don't have it already) If this sounds like you - please apply now! email or phone We are looking for hardworking reliable people from a range of backgrounds.
