Are you a registered Electrician, EST or EAS seeking a change? Apply now! Our client is seeking a determined service technician to grow their team based at New Zealand's only dental teaching facility. You will be working with a team maintaining a modern fleet of European dental treatment units, dental simulation devices, X-Ray machines, CNC milling units and various lab equipment. Both the equipment and the entire building is less than 5 years old, presenting a comfortable and world leading place of work. The work undertaken by our technical staff is critical in supporting the education of current and future dental clinicians. You will be supported in your role with two technicians based onsite, further backed up by a team of 10 experienced healthcare equipment technicians based in Dunedin. We are an interconnected business, with the opportunity to work as a field technician around Dunedin and Otago in private hospitals and dental clinics. Competitive hourly rate Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (No evenings, No weekends, No on call) Full training is included, including 2weeks training in Germany! Uniform, PPE and tools are provided A great team culture with multiple technical support streams Work on state of the art technology/equipment A varied environment where no day will be the same Opportunity to learn and work in an environment seldom seen by the public Must Have's: A current Electrical licence is a requirement (EAS, EST or Electrician) Proven diagnostic skills with electronic and mechanical systems Ability to work as a team, equally able to work independently Competent in Microsoft Office 365 and app based programs A competency with computers is essential as all equipment listed below is digitally connected and often requires diagnosis or interrogation via PC. Demonstrated positive customer service experience Physically fit and able The below will be considered advantageous but not mandatory: Experience with AS/NZS3760 and AS/NZS3551 electrical testing of appliances Experience with healthcare environments as you will be working in operating theatres, clinical treatment and sterile areas Experience with medical gas or compressed air systems Competent in Microsoft Office Experience with X-Ray an advantage If this sounds like you - apply online now!
