We are looking for a motivated Engineering Officer with experience in provision of water infrastructure for new developments and pipeline renewals. If successful you will be responsible for the monitoring and inspection of subdivision and land use consents works involving water assets as well as managing the annual renewals programme. Key areas of responsibility include: Site monitoring and inspection Plan checking and approval Health and Safety Compliance with standards/quality assurance Contract supervision and claim processing Building strong working relationships with contractors and suppliers Applicants must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to collaborate to achieve outcomes and have sound contracting/supervision background. A working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, GIS and asset management tools are important for this role.
