Job Summary As a Lead Engineer, you will work together with other engineers to build world-class products and applications for our customers. By understanding our customers' real business and product needs, you strive to deliver goals, create impacts, and enjoy working in a dedicated cross-functional team environment. You can drive discussions and translate business needs into business and technology solutions. Responsibilities Subject matter expert in electronics design. Designs schematic of digital, mixed-signal and power electronics that meet requirements. Provides design rules and layout guidelines, including schematics capture and printed circuit board layout design documents. Designs embedded systems including A/D, D/A, high-speed Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors (DSP), FPGA, I/O communications (CAN, SPI, I2C, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, and others.), volatile and non-volatile memory. Diagnoses issues, understanding of typical failure in digital/mixed-signal circuits and troubleshoot designs. Identify and communicate potential risks with appropriate mitigations and evaluate requirements on performance, quality, time, and/or cost. Design products to meet EMC compliance certification and safety requirements. Desired Skills and Experience Understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor's basic architecture, embedded drivers development and constraints on application development. Ability to multi-task and operate efficiently in a fast-paced product development environment with multiple projects at various stages of completion. Providing technical leadership and communicate well with various stakeholders. Experience in developing requirements, verification and validation plans and risk analysis. Use of hardware lab equipment. Required Background Degree in Electronics / Electrical engineering or similar. At least 3 years of successful product development experience. 3+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
