About the roleWe are currently looking for an Engineer to join the team at our Motueka Site.You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairing plant equipment to minimize downtime and improve overall plant efficiency.Hourly rate rages from $35 - $40, based on your experience and qualifications, + On-call allowance As an Engineer you will be responsible for:Day-to-day maintenance of the plantReporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through the software-based systemEnsuring the production downtime is kept to a minimum.Maintaining all the documentation and records, both written and electronicMaintaining relationships with the internal and external stakeholdersKeeping daily contact with the Maintenance Planner and Mechanical LeadFollowing Health & Safety and Food Safety proceduresHanding over the information to the next shiftKeeping the workshop tidyFollowing the health and safety/food safety proceduresWho are you?You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard, and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn. You are highly organised and have strong attention to detail, you have the ability to self-manage and use initiative.
