We have an exciting opening for an ER Advisor to join our team. As the ER Advisor, you will support the ER Team with the full spectrum of ER issues. You will proactively support the team with complex cases, and you will coach and advise mid-senior level managers across the university, advising on employment-related issues, including interpretation of collective agreements and policies. You will build effective relationships with union representatives and other employee advocates.
AUT is a large, complex, unionised environment. You will be part of a small, savvy and switched on ER team and you will work collaboratively with our HR Business Partnering team who are always on the go and need your support.
You will be an excellent listener, a capable negotiator, a communicator, and problem solver. You will play an active role in ensuring the organisation's values are upheld, modelling them in your conduct. Being culturally aware, empathetic, compassionate and respectful are core requirements.
