About the role Workwise employment consultants /kairapu turanga mahi have a really unique job. They work with people /tangata whai mahi who are facing personal or health challenges and help them tofind and keep work. In this role, you will work closely with peopleaccessing community mental health and addictions support, social services,government agencies, training providers and employers. So you'll beworking with people and their whanau, who have a range of backgrounds, culturesand experiences.
This is a permanent full-time roleworking Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (flexi-time), based in CentralWellington.
About you You'll have great people skills andbe able to easily interact and engage with anyone. Cultural competence isessential in this role and we particularly encourage Maori and Pacific peopleto apply.

You'll have:
The ability to build relationships and achieve results for people A love of being part of a team but the ability to confidently work independently The ability to think quickly and problem-solve effectively Experience working in the social service, addiction, youth, mental health, disability, employment, career development or other sectors that focus on improving people's lives. Lived experience is also valued. It is preferred that applicantshold the New Zealand Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or arecognised equivalent. Alternatively, you can commence free study towardsthis within six months of starting your employment. We offer significantsupport to complete this study, please feel free to contact us to discuss thisfurther.
