About the role:
This role will be focused on, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. From troubleshooting complex issues to ensuring compliance with safety regulations, the Industrial Electrician plays a crucial role in keeping the operations running smoothly. Some of your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in industrial environments. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to accurately complete assignments. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to coordinate projects and resolve problems. Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and standards to minimise risks and maintain a secure work environment. Document work activities, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks. About you:
Our ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with experience working in large industrial or manufacturing facilities. You'll need to be proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components.
You'll also need to have strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. As you'll be working as part of a team, having great communication skills is a must as well as good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
