Job Description - Electrician, Building & Engineering 1.0 FTE (HAU01474)Electrician, Building & Engineering 1.0 FTEFor further information about this opportunity, please contact Geoff Blackman on (06) 869-0500 ext 8251.This full-time, permanent position exists to provide electrical maintenance support to the Gisborne Hospital campusYou will need:--NZ Registered Electrician with current electrical practicing license, and we would actively consider newly qualified electricians.-5 years practical experience in industrial / commercial process control technology and energy management systems desirable but not essential-5 years' experience in electrical procedures in accordance with Australian & NZ standards desirable but not essential-Interpreting diagrams and schematics-Have the ability to identify potential hazards, and be able to take appropriate action to prevent or reduce problems before they arise-Have a basic understanding of Refrigeration & HVAC systemsAll applicants will be subject to a police screen.Situated on the eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island, Gisborne "Tairawhiti" – "The light shines on the water" is the first city in the world to see the rising sun of the new day.
