Our Whangarei team is on the hunt for qualified Electrical Fitters to join them.

The role
Reporting to a Delivery Manager, you will be joining an experienced team across both CAPEX and OPEX teams to assist with reactive repairs, upgrades and new installs to maintain the local electricity network assets. Your skills will be effective across low and high voltage systems up to 33kV. Your day will include but not limited to:

- Carry out prescribed electrical work as per regulations
- Accurate record-keeping and reporting of the works undertaken
- Identify potential issues and provide effective solutions to recover from setbacks
- Performing some manual civil work as and when required

About you
You'll either be an experienced Electrical Fitter or someone with strong experience in industrial or commercial electricity space and looking to become an Electrical Fitter. To be successful in this role, you will also have some or all of the following:

- Experience in Substation 400V, 11kV to 33kV in Construction or Maintenance
- A full, clean driver's licence
- Preference will be given to candidates who either hold EWRB registration as an Electrical Fitter/Electrician or are ready to apply
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job and has a strong commitment to health and safety
