With a vision towards ongoing expansion and continued growth they currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their team and provide technical engineering leadership to a range of capital, safety and maintenance related projects.
You will be a key part of the business, completing minor electrical design and installation, expediting problem solving for electrical issues, reviewing and implementing electrical equipment strategy, developing site electrical specifications and supporting internal Electrical Engineers and the broader electrical team. The position will pay a salary of $120 K - $140K + benefits for suitably experienced applicants.
Your Skills: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Electrical Diploma with significant industrial manufacturing experience10 years electrical distribution and maintenance experience within heavy industryFamiliar with working within a MHF 24/7 manufacturing facilityAble to conduct feasibility studies for electrical engineering aspects of capital, safety and major maintenance improvementsExperience in supervising the estimation, design, installation and commissioning of engineering workDeveloped communication and interpersonal skillsExposure to the full project life cycle of industrial projects from initial feasibilityAs a member of a high performing team, you will be exposed to a diverse range of processing and auxiliary operations so prior work within a 24/7 aligned industrial facility is preferred. Additionally a proactive approach to Health and Safety and experience working within a Hazardous Substances environment would be beneficial.
