Description & RequirementsReporting to the Site Manager- the Environment- Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is accountable for the Health & Safety performance of our Hastings site- as well as supporting implementation of other Operational Risk initiatives including Environment- Facility Security and Business Continuity. This is not your routine Health & Safety role – come enjoy a diverse and dynamic role within a supportive team where you'll enjoy the autonomy to drive a broad agenda across the site.
About the role Setting site direction of EHS performance through target setting and performance monitoringContinuous improvement to ensure site EHS compliance with legislation and Kraft Heinz global best practiceEnsuring suitable policies- management systems and controls are applied across EHSDriving EHS audits and action plansMitigating business continuity risks through emergency preparedness plansQualitative and quantitative EHS reportingRehabilitation and Return to WorkLeading and participating in Environment and Social Governance- such as energy conservation and waste reduction initiativesAbout you We are seeking an enthusiastic- autonomous individual with exceptional interpersonal skills who can confidently interact with and influence a range of stakeholders across the site drive to drive the EHS agenda.
Bachelor degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Engineering- Science etc)At least 5 years experience in EHS or safety management in a manufacturing environment- with working knowledge of relevant legislationExperience in dealing with regulatory agenciesExperience with Safety Management Systems and EHS auditingExperience with Rehabilitation and Return to WorkBenefits program We empower our people to own their work- and it's true our employees are our competitive advantage – so we take care of our Kraft Heinz family with our 'Live Well' benefits program:
