The Trust manages a state of the art breeding and rehabilitation facility located in rural Marlborough. We currently have 18 karearea in our care, this number fluctuates according to the number of birds being rehabilitated and released from our breeding programme.To date we are proud to have released 83 karearea from our breeding programme back into the wild. As a Trust we work closely with the Department of Conservation (DOC) under their permits to care for the karearea and to spread a conservation message to the community and visitors. We also work closely with our sponsors who help fund the Trust's work as well as numerous other contributors.He angitutanga – About the roleAs the Education & Administration Coordinator for the Karearea Falcon Trust you will lead the Karearea Falcons in Marlborough Schools Programme sponsored by Marlborough Lines Ltd.
