DescriptionAlongside our thriving global retail business is our extremely important direct-to-consumer business. Our direct customers are some of our most loyal and engaged. Your role will be to take our existing direct to consumer business, improve the entire online journey, and explode the number of people we reach and convert. Telling perfume in a scent-free, non-tactile online world isn't the easiest, but we will use all the tools and creative thinking at our disposal and with your help, lead the industry.
Overall responsibility for managing and optimising our global eCommerce business using the latest information, data and a sound strategic approach to deliver on our aggressive growth targets.Delivering short, mid and long term vision for Abel eCommerce, including how we integrate with Abel's IRL offerings and deliver true omnichannel customer experiencesOwning allocation of budgets dependent on key insights and smart long term thinking while managing expenditure within these allocated budgets.Expertly manage relationships with external partners across digital advertising, analytics and development to create a humming and coordinated ecosystem of digital experts.Own Abel's digital analytics and reporting suite with an 'on the numbers' attitude at all times.Acquisition & Retention:
Own the digital acquisition advertising programme including but not limited to SEA, SEO, Re-marketing, Meta and Email.Use insights to deliver an always on testing programme, work with Abel designers and content leads to quickly spin up new campaigns, creative and copy to ensure constant optimisation of advertising efforts, with optimising CAC always top of mind.Work closely with the Marketing Team to coordinate PR and partnership opportunities to grow owned digital channels e.g. email databases and social followings.Design and deliver retention programmes to make Abel's eCommerce customers feel valued and 'sticky.' Reward them for their loyalty in a scalable, personalised and cost-effective way.Site Management :
Manage the bug fix and maintenance schedule with development partners for both D2C and B2B web assets.Managing the evolution of the Abel ecommerce experience, ensuring its delivering on insights-led customer journeys from first visit, to conversion, to loyalty.Understand that Abel eCommerce is a branded experience and is a key tool to deliver on our positioning - design and deliver unique digital experiences that set the Abel brand apartOther ecommerce projects introduced by yourself or others in the team based on sound reasoning and a forward thinking outlook.Success indicators:
A well managed, on-time and on-budget launch of the next phase of the Abel website..Positive ROAS trends across online advertising.A growing, engaged database and social following,Overall increase in website conversion and revenueStrong relationships within the Abel team.Passionate, enthusiastic direct customers.Internal Connections:
You will report to our Head of Unified CommerceYou'll work closely with our creative lead on all content and marketing materials required for digital channels.You will be assisted in your forecasting and commercial strategy by our Unified Commerce Manager, Digital Consultant and our Founder.We're a small hands on team, so close bonds with the remaining Abel team will be important in enabling the most satisfaction, fun and performance from your role.We thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment. As such, there may be times that you will be required to help your colleagues on urgent requirements to ensure our brand reputation is upheld and our customers remain delighted.Function Requirements:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience that spans most ecommerce disciplines. Strong preference given to experience in managing website rebuild projects, but a sound understanding of online advertising channels is also a must.The ability to think strategically but also focus on the details.The ability to manage the entire project lifecycle with consistent consideration of key stakeholder requirements and transparency across the business.The confidence to negotiate contracts and hold partners accountable.An analytical mind and problem solving attitude.Driven to create a stellar customer journey for all Abel customers in the online world.Driven by our mission to create positive change.Role Type#J-18808-Ljbffr
