As an Ecologist with Freshwater Experience, you will play a vital role in our consultancy's mission. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive field surveys and assessments to evaluate the health and biodiversity of freshwater habitats. Identifying and monitoring key species and their interactions within aquatic ecosystems. Analyzing and interpreting data, including water quality parameters and biological indicators. Developing and implementing strategies for habitat restoration and conservation in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on freshwater-related projects. Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and best practices. Qualifications and Skills: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Proven experience in conducting freshwater ecosystem assessments and monitoring. Strong knowledge of freshwater ecology, including aquatic plants, invertebrates, and fish. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex ecological concepts to clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
