Our inclusive environment is rich in Pasifika language, culture, identity and Christianity to ensure children develop a sense of security and belonging.The roleAs our Early Learning Centre continues to grow, we have a fantastic opportunity for a new Early Learning Centre Manager to join our Kainga/family. This role is critical in ensuring the kaha'u/future of fanau/children's education begins in a positive learning environment and in a specifically Pasifika way.In this role, you will be responsible for:The implementation and delivery of K'aute Pasifika ELC philosophy, curriculum, strategic/annual plans, children's programme planning, assessments and evaluation.Managing and implementing the Strategic Plan and meeting outcomesWorking closely with the CEO to ensure the Board are well informedStrengthening the capacity of staff through quality professional developmentDelivering high-quality ECE curriculum through Pasifika pedagogyImplementing robust internal evaluation strategiesBuilding and strengthening relationships with communities and partnersCoordinating weekly management meetings with Team Leaders and staffThis full-time role will be based at our K'aute Pasifika Village right in the fatu/heart of Kirikiriroa, opposite FMG Waikato Stadium.The ideal personThe ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering quality service to our fanau/children, along with a proven ability to inspire and lead a team of 12 – 15 likeminded professionals.To be considered for this role, the following is a must:A minimum 5 years' experience as an Early Learning Centre ManagerBachelor of Education (ECE)Fluent in a Pasifika languageCurrent Registration with the Teachers Council of AotearoaFull Class 1 Driver's licence or reliable transportBe able to provide a clear Police Vetting and Ministry of Justice reportKnowledgeable of Maori and Pasifika worldviewsConfident and culturally competentIf you are looking to make a difference in your community, click on the APPLY button now - We can't wait to welcome you to our village!How to applyAll applications must be submitted online by clicking the APPLY button above.
