About Us:
Avenues Early Learning Centre- Aspleyis a small, friendly centre that prides itself on providing our children and families with quality care and education. We are based in Aspley and have formed strong reputable relationships with the families in the area as well as the local school.
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate teacher to nurture, develop and educate our children so they can continue to build on their love of play, learning and exploration.
This is an excellent chance to join a dynamic, friendly and hardworking team.
Recent graduates who have completed a Bachelor of Early childhood Education are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Deliver a high-quality program using 'Childcarers' with the help and support from our Educational Leader. Ensuring learning and development is aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and National Quality Standards.
Create positive and productive learning environments including resources based on the children's interests and development.
Build positive and secure relationships with the children.
Develop and maintain strong and open relationships with families and fellow educators.
Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.

You will need:
An approved ACECQA early childhood teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
Experience working in a childcare setting
Fantastic organisational and teamwork skills.
Current CPR and First Aid certificate with anaphylaxis and asthma training.
Current Blue Card.
