Early Childhood Kaiako - Qualified and Certificated TeacherThe Salvation Army Early Childhood Education Centre Newtown, Wellington About the role We are searching for a passionate qualified and registered kaiako to join our team at our not-for-profit, small, mixed-age centre. This position will be based with our tamariki in the two to six year olds space, and we are looking for a teacher who is excited to work alongside our wonderful team, implementing our caring, child-led, play based curriculum.About us The Salvation Army Early Childhood Education Centres provide quality, Christian Early Childhood Care and Education and wrap-around whanau care services in the local community, within our community hub at The Salvation Army, Newtown. We are a small, mixed-age purpose built centre with children 0-6 years old, up to 30 tamariki in the ECE centre (20 Over Twos, 8 Infants and Toddlers) and 15 families per day in the Space class (Mon-Thurs).Who we're looking for If you are confident in building strong relationships with tamariki, whanau and kaiako, passionate about best practice and quality education and care, then we want to hear from you!
