Duty Manager at a Liquor Store We're seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to join our client's team at a bustling liquor store in Dunedin City, nestled in the beautiful Otago Region. Position: Duty Manager   Location: Dunedin City, Otago Region   Hours: 10 am - 10 pm, Monday to Sunday   Weekly Commitment: Minimum 30 hours, Maximum 40 hours   Pay Range: $25 - $32 per hour Job Responsibilities: 1. Analyzing product assortments, inventory levels, and service benchmarks. 2. Developing and executing procurement and marketing strategies, including pricing strategies. 3. Marketing and advertising the store's offerings. 4. Providing customer service by selling products and offering guidance on usage. 5. Managing inventory records and financial transactions. 6. Creating budgets for the store's operations. 7. Supervising staff selection, training, and performance. 8. Ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety protocols. **Requirements:** - Previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role. - License Controller Qualification (LCQ) is prefferable. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset. - Strong leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse team. - Sound knowledge of liquor products and industry trends (training would be provided). - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. - Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.
