This role will suit someone who is experienced, multi-skilled and motivated, who can multi-task, show initiative, work accurately under pressure, and who enjoys working with a wide variety of people (musicians, volunteers, the Board, audience, sponsors, VIPs etc) . A strong interest in orchestral music is desirable.The Office Manager is responsible for managing:Monthly financial functions.Database and payroll systems.Concert series subscription processing, including ticketing.Front-of-house arrangements for concerts.Multi-faceted administrative functions of the office.Health and safety requirements.Assisting with hires of Hanover Hall, the orchestra's home.Desired Skills and Experience Essential skills and experience for this role are:Xero accounting (debtors, creditors, transaction coding), Microsoft packages (especially Word and Exc el), Database, Payroll.Excellent inter-personal, written and verbal skills.The core role is 30 hours per week (with the potential of additional hours available for the successful candidate).
