Dog Daycare / Kennel Staff

We are looking for keen beans to join our team at a busy Dog Daycare & Kennel in Waitakere!
We are a completely social boarding and day care service. Our pack leaders are responsible for the overall care and fun of our doggie members.
Applicants need to:
Have confidence and passion for dogs of all sizes Be reliable and responsible with a great work ethic Be physically fit Have previous experience in dog care or a strong desire to learn Have own transport (we are not close to bus routes) Be able to work outside in all weather Have great customer service skills
If you are able to do full days then that is a bonus, a full day is 7:00am - 6:30pm and we are 7 days. If you are wanting part time work around your schedule this will work perfectly too. Part time hours per fortnight negotiable to whatever works with your schedule! We are also looking for casual staff who may not want to commit to regular hours and may be available at short notice for some hours/days. Please let us know in your application what your availability may be.Finer details: We do work through all public holidays and stats, including Xmas & New years. We are never closed to the public except Xmas Day and New Years day. If you have a dog of your own (registered to you) and they are happy & social, and happy around you being with other dogs (vaccinations required), you are able to bring your dog to work also. (Except public holidays, school holidays, & Stats - Peak times).
Working with dogs is very hard work, but also very rewarding, and a lot of fun for the right people. We expect professionalism, but a sense of humor also, not to mention a keen attitude when the rain comes and when the going gets tough. Being able to connect with dogs and know what's important to them, is the first step and they will bond with you in no time.
