Distribution Coordinator

About the role: We are currently looking for a Distribution Coordinator to join our team based in Penrose. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and smooth distribution to our customers in North Island. Coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring effective communication in a professional manner. Checking the daily distribution schedule and notifying the drivers of any relevant changesEnsuring transport documentation/paperwork is filed daily.Investigating any distribution issues and resolving them in a timely manner. Checking and printing documentation needed for seamless order delivery and reporting on discrepancies if any. Ensure that all deliveries are compliant with NZTA legislationData entry in SAP to ensure order fulfilment and delivery schedules are accurately recorded in the system. Liaise with drivers on any issues the drivers might have and convey their feedback to the operations manager. Weekly rotational shifts (6.00 am to 2.30 pm & 2.00 pm to 10.30pm).For this role, you will have: Proven Administration experience (preferably in a transport industry)Worked on operating systems (preferably on SAP)Excellent customer service skills. Intermediate MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of the road transport sector with operations background Excellent written & oral communication skills.
