We make a difference by innovating a smarter and safer world Join a growth company About the opportunity As our Distribution Account Manager, you are responsible for the Distributors and the Channel Partner Program in the region. Your objective is to capture maximum growth potential in the market by building up strong channel infrastructure, which is composed of Distributors and all kinds of Channel Partners. The Distribution Account Manager needs to have a wide picture of the market, work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and create alignment in all ongoing projects. You will empower the Distributors by managing their continuous training, coaching and education. The ideal candidate is self-driven and energetic team player, with exceptional ability to develop and maintain important relationships with customers. This position is based in Auckland, New Zealand and will involve local and some international travel. Key responsibilities Account management of Distributors in the market, acting as their main contact daily Owning the Channel Partner Program in the assigned region Developing new Partners and continuously evaluate the performance of current partners Training, coaching and educating Partners Managing stock levels and stock rotations Planning, implementing and following-up with Distributors' marketing activities with the local Marketing Manager Training the Distributor and other Channel Partners on Axis' products Evaluating the performance of each Distributor and Channel Partner Achieving annual and quarterly targets set for the region Qualifications and experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience in a similar position Track record of reaching sales targets working with Partners Able to optimally analyse and prioritise customers Skills, abilities, and behaviours Driven and self-motivated team player Good knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies and applications Good organisational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills Able to build and maintain relationships with customers What we have to offer When you join Axis, you enter a workplace that fosters community, creativity, and commitment.
