The Director of Event Technology Sales is a leader in sales who is capable of overseeing a sales team, focusing in all areas of sales for the organization's products and services. The applicant will be responsible for an East Coast sales team that includes multiplelocations.Responsibilities:Effective direction of sales process and management in order to penetrate accounts within the conference, events and general technology markets.Work with the sales force to successfully execute strategies that will retain and expand existing client relations, improve current profitability, facilitate an increase in the overall client base while allowing for accurate forecasting.Direct sales efforts in regards to sales through training, improved reporting as well as active and effective management.Actively participate in sales discussions for key clients at crucial times as well as show and execute on effective and sophisticated selling strategies.Utilize Salesforce.com to manage sales.
