Director Business Development & Client Services General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)Aspeq is a global market leader in the development and delivery of assessment and examination services to regulatory clients in 25 countries. Renowned for innovative software solutions, outstanding content development and the highest levels of candidate care, Aspeq is a trusted partner across a wide range of industries including aviation, transport, construction, health, and finance.Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role will lead the business development, client management and Project Management Office (PMO) teams to service existing customers and drive new revenue growth (nationally and internationally). The primary focus will be on leading a high-performing team, managing, and nurturing existing clients and partnerships, while developing new business opportunities.As part of the senior leadership team, responsibilities will include;Taking a strategic view of the international assessment market and positioning Aspeq's products and services to maximise growth;Working closely with the CE and senior leaders to achieve the business plan objectives;Developing and implementing business development strategies and tactics;Leading an integrated and cohesive sales, account and contract management and client services team;Accountability for revenue and margin deliverables across the portfolio;Growing and retaining the existing customer base and associated service revenue through building and fostering relationships with customers and prospective clients directly and with the team;Leading the PMO to effectively deliver internal and external projects within budget and on time.Building and sustaining a customer orientated and high-performance culture by leading from the front, managing performance, and providing thought leadership.The successful individual will need to develop credibility, and gravitas across the company and support the Client Services Teams to deliver strong ongoing performance. You will be a great listener with the ability to translate business requirements into Aspeq solutions both verbally and in writing, internally and with clients. Your personal traits will include resilience, confidence when presenting, strong negotiation and closing skills, and a thoughtful positive mindset.As an experienced business development and senior management professional with a proven track-record achieving results directly and through others, you will lead from the front while quickly developing rapport, trust, and relationships internally and with clients. Experience in international sales and in the provision of services to industry groups, regulators, government, and training organisations (or similar) would be advantageous.This is an exciting time to join Aspeq.
