As the Digital Product and Services Specialist you will collaborate directly with internal teams, and drive the operational performance of the managed services provider, product provider, and application vendors. Primary focuses for the role include environment optimisation, insights, upgrades, incident, problem & change management, quality assurance and ensure over-all stability.Within the Infrastructure Operations team there are three Product and Services Specialists who work closely together providing backup to each other as needed. Each role has a designated focus – two roles aligned with vendors for products and services, while the capacity role has a whole of Corrections view. For this recruitment we are looking to fill two positions that are primarily aligned to products and services.These roles report to the Manager of Enterprise Technology Operations and are integral parts of a team focused on maintaining the daily operational quality of digital services. As a candidate for this role, you'll collaborate with vendors to maintain a stable operating environment and serve as a liaison between teams. You'll define environment management processes, ensuring they meet user needs, and participate in change management. Your responsibilities include ensuring stability, quality, and availability of environments, and potentially sharing after-hours standby duties.You will collaborate closely with the Planning and Assurance, and Programme Management functions to ensure that the Department's operational needs and strategic goals, including the Hokai Rangi initiative and broader government objectives, are met, while upholding values of inclusivity and collaboration.Extensive experience in digital products and services management.Capable of working independently. Able to prioritise and manage tasks based on business objectives and priorities at speed and under pressure.Strong analytical and problem-solving ethic.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proven ability to successfully build, influence and maintain on-going business relationships.The role may also share the standby after-hours responsibility for P1 and P2 escalations, along with the Manager Enterprise Technology OperationsThe mid point of the salary range is $121,124 and the full range (85%-120%) is $102,956 - $145,349.
