Full Time Application Closes 24 Apr 2024 Wellington - Wellington City Marketing and Sales Manager We're looking for an experienced and creative Digital Marketing Advisor with a passion for social media to join the small but mighty marketing team at Zealandia Te Mara a Tane. 
As part of this team, you'll help bring our brand to life - building online engagement and connecting people with nature and conservation. You'll be a champion for storytelling across our online platforms.  
Does this sound like you?  You're a bit of a bird nerd, and love to share a fungi fact or two. You could spend hours searching for skinks in the sun and know your camera roll will be filled with videos of takahe within your first day on the job. You've got at least 3 years' experience working in social media marketing and can tell a story across multiple channels, from tiktoks to blogs. You understand how to impact reach and engagement with quality content, have an eye for a collaboration opportunity and know how to apply even the strangest social media trends into a wider digital strategy.  
If that's you, then keep reading...  Reporting to, and supported by, the Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll be managing Zealandia's social media channels including developing content plans, managing communications to members and supporters, and contributing to wider marketing campaigns. You'll be collaborating with other organisational teams to promote public events and the stories of Zealandia's conservation work. You'll also be managing the Zealandia website, including content development, and usability.

Like all members of staff at Zealandia, you'll be expected to actively uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, actively continue your journey of learning te reo Maori, maintain and promote exceptional health and safety, and support the maintenance of biosecurity in the sanctuary.

Qualifications  A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or equivalent industry qualification in digital marketing. 3 years' workplace experience in marketing and/or communications.  Experience in tourism and conservation, or the not-for-profit sector is desirable.   Requirements  Experienced in monitoring, tracking, and evaluating digital marketing channels.  Project management skills.   Strong copywriting and storytelling skills across communication channels.  Ability to create a range of content formats which follow current digital marketing trends. i.e., short format video  Has managed relationships or worked with external marketing agencies.   Has demonstrable experience in managing websites and social media channels.  A high level of computer literacy, specifically:  experience working with web content management systems including a basic understanding of HTML  helpful to have knowledge in e-commerce platforms  intermediate to advanced skills using the Microsoft 365 Suite – including SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics, Customer Voice, and Planner  helpful to have knowledge of the Adobe Design Suite – Photoshop, Premier Rush, Illustrator, and InDesign or equivalent  experience working with third-party analytics tools   ability to communicate a wide range of messages (sometimes complex) to diverse audiences in an accessible manner.  Personal Attributes Leads projects effectively.  Takes personal responsibility and is accountable.  Supports and encourages other team members.  Works co-operatively with others to achieve outcomes.   Willingness to assist with wider team priorities.  Proactively and appropriately resolves conflict.
