We are looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics / Mobile Plant Fitters with both workshop and field service mining experience, within the Mining or Agriculture sector to come and join the Australian mining industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a change and wanting to work for a leading industry provider in mining. You will need to have a Diesel Mechanical Trade Qualification and relevant diagnostic type work experience to be successful in this position.
About the role:
These positions will see you working for leading OEM’s and Mining Contractors in Western Australia and possibly other states. Previous experience working in Australia will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities include:
Servicing, maintenance and repair with various Mobile Plant equipment (CAT preferred)
Continuous communication with managers and supervisor
Troubleshooting mechanical faults
Attending breakdowns on site
Other ad hoc duties as requested by your supervisor
Ensuring that targets are met and quality is maintained

Skills and Experience Required:
Diesel Fitter or Heavy Mechanic trade qualification
Minimum of 4 years’ experience (post qualification)
Strong focus on safety and quality
Ability to work in a fast pace workshop
Proven field service experience
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Proven experience in a similar role

Ideally relocation to Australia is preferred, however flexible arrangements to FIFO from NZ maybe negotiated. To be successful you must able to pass drug and Alcohol, medical, and police clearance, and hold a current driver’s licence.
