This is your opportunity to join Watercare's infrastructure team and lead Watercare's relationship with some of the major developers across Auckland and manage Watercare's engagement on large-scale developments. This is a key facilitation role between Watercare and external parties involved in residential and commercial land development.
These developments are high profile and have significant infrastructure consequences for Watercare and greater Auckland. You will be actively involved in ensuring that the proposed water and wastewater infrastructure is fit for purpose and that any dependencies such as new or upgraded infrastructure has been clearly documented.
This will involve Coordinating and communicating to the parties on the timing and funding needed for the planning, and delivery of any connecting wastewater and water infrastructure including any existing constraints within the existing and planned networks to accommodate the maximum probable development potential of the area.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working in a team environment, and be an excellent communicator.
Your skills and background must include:
A relevant water and wastewater engineering and/or Resource Management professional qualification, preferably at tertiary level+5 years experience in a related fieldPreferably strong project management experienceAbility to adapt to new systems and analyse and present data trends.We offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including:
