A central pillar of this growth strategy is portfolio diversification through the development of mixed-use town centres with a range of real estate including build-to-rent apartments, hotel, commercial and office product.Their holdings, which include the iconic Sylvia Park, LynnMall and the future Drury town centre, are perfectly positioned for Kiwi Property to realise their strategic growth objectives through high quality large-scale mixed-use development.As such Kiwi Property is now recruiting for an experienced and proven Development Manager to drive the successful delivery of the land development works for their Drury land holdings based in Auckland.Reporting to, and working with, the Project Director this critical hire will manage and deliver all aspects of capital works, civil works, and earthworks for Drury in accordance with the strategic development plan of the business.To be considered for this fantastic opportunity the right candidate will have extensive development management experience in the New Zealand market with a proven track record of success in land development.Essential skills and attributes are as follows but not limited to:A relevant tertiary qualification in real estate, construction management, engineering, architecture or planning, or another related subject.Demonstrated capability in the identification, analysis, management and delivery of complex, multi-faceted, value-adding projects. In particular land and estate development project experience is required, with strong skills in civil and earthworks.Commercial and/or retail and/or residential development and/or build to rent development experience is not essential but would be viewed as a positive.You must be highly numerate, with a strong understanding of financial modelling and feasibility studies with understanding of property valuation methodologies.Proven record of leading teams to successful development outcomesDetailed understanding of the consenting process and legislation.Proven track record of leading internal and external teams to successful development outcomes.Highly effective with stakeholder management and building relationships at all levels.A focus on continual improvement and accountability.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.The successful candidate will be joining a motivated and highly talented team that are collectively committed to delivering superior returns for their investors through the active development and management of a high-quality portfolio of premium property assets.
