Step into a role as a Developer within MPI. In this position, you'll have the unique opportunity to build key software applications that support our border and primary industries. Your role will involve collaborating with a dedicated team to maintain modern .NET solutions, ensuring they align with our organizational goals and the broader public interest.
Develop exciting technology applications within a government setting.Work within a supportive and collaborative team.Contribute to meaningful projects that impact national services.As a Developer, you will bring technical proficiency in modern development technologies. Your role involves knowledge of various technical domains, including front-end development, microservices and APIs, and back-end development skills right down at the database layer. You will also contribute to documentation in line with organizational and industry standards and demonstrate knowledge in secure software development.
Experience in UI, API, and database development.Proficiency in .NET, SSRS, SQL, and testing tools like Cypress.Experience in CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools.Knowledge of secure software development.Ability to document software to organizational and industry standards.Join an experienced team of developers committed to software development within the public sector, supporting and enhancing New Zealand's systems protecting our borders and primary industry. You'll also work within a cross functional team including expert business and technical people who will challenge and support you to do your best work.
