One of our Clients who is a well-known, global brand who are are looking for a Desktop Support expert to deliver top notch customer service to the local business.

This is a 16 month initial contract with an end date of 30th June 2025 with strong potential for another 12 months extension. 

This role is based in their Ellerslie office and requires you to be on-site 5 days a week. 

The role: 
You will be the main point of escalated support for end user support and problem resolution at the Auckland office, while also acting as a backup providing remote support to other location(s).

You will be responsible for:
Desktop, PC and Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolutionEnsure reliable operation of hardware and general site infrastructureWork with central IT Teams to provide assistance on-site as neededOn-Site Support for IT Activities and deploymentWork with external vendors to resolve hardware related issuesSupport site LAN end-user network connectivityOccasional participation in afterhours / weekend support and deployment activities if requiredYou will be:Ideally qualified in an IT related discipline and you will have 3-5+ years of experience in supporting a large corporate IT environmentExperienced in PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 10 operating systems, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and have a basic understanding of physical and logical networking in a TCP/IP based LAN. Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g.) Service-Now is desirable.Your attention to detail, ability to problem solve, and strong focus on customer service will set you apart for this role.
