Designer (Training Provided | Construction | Spatial | Sketchup) Designer (Training Provided | Construction | Spatial | Sketchup) Basic $3000 - $4200 + AWS + Variable Bonus Excellent Welfare and Benefits + Career progression Working location: Commonwealth Working day: Monday to Friday Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm Training provided for those with/without experience Job Responsibilities: Spatial Layout Planning & Design Conceptualization: Assist in developing spatial layouts and design concepts, from initial ideation to detailed implementation, under the guidance of senior team members. Utilization of Design Software: Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, or similar programs to translate design concepts into 2D and 3D designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements. Client Interaction and Presentation: Participate in client meetings to understand project needs, present design ideas, and incorporate feedback into design revisions. Assist in Material Selection: Assist in researching and selecting appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures, considering design aesthetics and budget constraints. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to coordinate project details and ensure smooth project execution. Project Support and Management: Provide support to senior team members in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to contribute to project success. Assistance to Design Leadership: Offer assistance to the Design Director and senior designers as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the design team. Qualifications: Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (Interior/Spatial/Architecture) Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator etc. Proven experience in spatial planning, design conceptualization, and project management is a plus. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Training provided for those without/lesser experience.
