Design & Production Planning Manager for Aquacomb - a fast growing product supply company in the construction industry. Aquacomb supplies an innovative system of water tanks for new homes and renovations.
Our key design and planning role is coming available and we need the right person to take up the role and run with it. Plenty of training will be provided.The role currently includes: Learning details of our product/system Use of 2D design program Use of SketchUp 3D modelling program Using Gmail and integrated CRM system on daily basis (Copper CRM) Using Google Docs & Excel Spreadsheets to an advanced level Communicate with clients both over phone and email on a daily basis Communicate with everyone in the team to stay on top of clients jobs Weekly work in progress meetings for the whole team Working in Xero accounting program to produce quotes and invoices for clients Running detailed Excel spreadsheets for product planning Creative input for things like newsletters, company processes, technical improvements. What we think the ideal person will be:

Recent Engineering/CompSci Student with an in-depth knowledge of and competence with technology (Sketchup/Excel etc), and the confidence and ability to communicate clearly with clients. Proactive: if you think there is a better way to do something, have the initiative to try it out; if something needs doing, get onto it and make it happen! Work load of approximately 35 hrs a week (relatively flexible), to extend to more hours in future if needed. We are a fast moving and expanding business that prides itself on high customer satisfaction and quick turnaround times. This would also be a great role for someone looking to get into the construction sector if you have the above skills.
And we pay more than just minimum wage!
Applicant MUST have the right to work in New Zealand or a visa that allows them to work more than 20 hrs per week.
