Ko te kaupapa | About the role Whanganui Hospital is looking for a Dental Assistant to work in our Community Oral Health Services team and provide our dental /oralhealththerapists with chair-side assistance.
We are a vibrant team of dental assistants supporting our dental /oralhealththerapists in the care of our tamariki and their whanau.
We work in well-equipped facilities and are focussed on providing a high standard ofgeneraloral health care to our tamariki and their whanau. This includes providing dental assistance to dental /oralhealththerapists inmobile dental units on siteinschoolsandcompleting a range of associated ad ministration duties to a high standard.
Joining us as a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for increasing the efficiencyandeffectivenessof the dental /oralhealththerapists you work with. You will also be paramount in helping our tamariki feel comfortable before, during and after treatments and providinga safe and clean environment.
