Dental Assistant

Our client is a small highly respected dental practice based in the heart of Remuera village shops They specialise in periodontics but also practice general dentistry and have a part time hygienist They have a lot of very good Chinese patients and with a strong focus on customer care and patient communication they are now seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join their friendly team This role has variety in that you will be a very good Dental Assistant but will also help with patient co ordination bookings confirmations patient care and all other usual practice duties This is a relatively small team and so the team are largely cross trained and are all required to help each other whenever needed to best care for their patients and get the job done Duties would include assisting the dentist and hygienist with day to day tasks chairside assisting with implants and impressions liaising with the labs sterilization and some patient coordination reception and general support duties as with all their team members The special person we re seeking will have an excellent mix of previous dental experience a friendly and bubbly personality a genuine passion for patient care and a strong focus on customer service excellence The key personal and professional skills qualities and or attributes we re also seeking are as follows Minimum of 3 years experience as a Dental Assistant in New Zealand or UK Australia Canada USA Very Caring and patient focused Excellent personal presentation and grooming Very positive and friendly personalityMature outlook highly reliable and responsible Excellent BOTH written and spoken English and Mandarin A MUST Looking for genuinely long term employment Strong work ethic A formal dental qualification is preferred but NOT mandatoryWe re looking to place this role as soon as possible and so if you believe you have the skills experience and personality required to make this role yours we d love to hear from you as soon as possible Please just Apply Online urgently remembering to attach your fully updated CV with full address contact details AND a Covering Letter Applications without a Covering Letter will be REJECTED
