Who are we?
Farro is a premium grocery store with six stores across Auckland.
We support hundreds of local food producers, providing an inspiring, quality food offering and outstanding customer service.
Who are we looking for?
We are on the hunt for an experienced delicatessen or cafe leadership professional whose heart is with team engagement and next-level customer experience.
Assisting to lead the Constellation Drive Farro Deli team and working with a tight group of dedicated team players, this role focuses on the operational tasks involved in sharing our delicious offerings with our fabulous customers, as well as helping to motivate and engage the deli team. Working as part of a larger management team, this is an on-the-floor, lead-by-example role, so you must be ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in. This is an excellent opportunity for a retail assistant to take a step up in their retail career.
You will be role-modelling your skills in merchandising, ordering, stock management and customer service. An interest in quality food is a definite advantage in this role. A tertiary qualification in a related discipline would help you to understand the numbers and the bigger picture, so would be a big benefit. Leadership skills would be helpful, as we want to hear how you would keep the team motivated and engaged.
The details
This role based in our Constellation Drive store, and works 35-45 hours across 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursdays, rostered between the hours of 6am and 9pm.
