This position involves working on our harvesting/seeding/floating vessels while engaging in all aspects of deck work, aquafarm maintenance and harvesting mussels for processing.This is a Full Time Permanent position based on Stewart Island in Big Glory Bay. They involve 5 on 2 off shifts. You will be key in supporting the Skipper and other vessel workers to ensure work is completed in a safe and timely manner.About the role:The main purpose of this role is to carry out duties and operations ensuring the supply of mussels to the Havelock Processing Plant for sale and distribution.What you need to be successful in the role:We are looking for people who can fit in seamlessly with our team of hard workers who get on well with each other.We work outside in all weather conditions, so you need to be comfortable in the elements and at ease on the water.Aquaculture experience or an interest in this field that will always be an advantage.
