Working alongside business stakeholders to understand their needs and formulate an approach, this role will support across the bank on key initiatives.We sit as the conduit between the business and data, you will also be involved in understanding complex analytical concepts that will influence strategic initiatives, for example:Working with Language Models and Generative AI for both insight and in new production workflowsPredictive modelling for product and conversation recommendationCustomer Segmentation for grouping customers together based on comparable characteristics relevant to business need around life stage, spend and product appetiteTime Series analysis to predict trajectory in portfolio growth, understand levers or measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaignOptimisation of budget allocation, branch and fleet networksWhat we are looking for:Strong communication skills to make complex concepts accessible for business stakeholdersAbility to influence and collaborate at all levels without relying on hierarchyGood problem-solving skills, comfortable working in complex, challenging environments.Passion for your domain of expertise and highly inquisitiveAn ability to master new tools and skills as required.Outcome orientated, persistence to challenge the status quo and deliver customer resultsA Growth mindset, constantly striving to learn and developProficiency in at least one common data science language such as Python and R following good coding standardsExposure to notebook environments such as Jupyter Notebook, Apache Zeplin, RStudio or Databricks Collaborative WorkbenchUnderstanding of key concepts of Statistics and Statistical and Machine Learning techniques.Experience with MLOPs, Machine Learning Engineering and supporting Production capabilitiesWorking for ASBASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
