We do this by:protecting land, species, ecosystems, and cultural heritage for conservation purposesmanaging threats and adverse impactsbeing a voice for conservationconnecting people to nature.He angitutanga | About the roleIn this role you will develop and maintain the analytical data flows, data platforms, and reporting outputs for business stakeholders and analysts within DOC.The position will be focussed on:analysing, transforming, acquiring, and loading data from different data sourcesusing Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services, and other modern ETL tools such as FMEconfiguring data workflows and loading into target database and analytical data platforms, such as Snowflake.If you have the following attributes, we are keen to hear from you:knowledge and experience in adoption of data platforms and analytics toolsgood experience and knowledge of different development languages and frameworks such as Python and/or FMEexcellent knowledge of SQL, ETL techniques, and data warehouse design principlesexpert knowledge of SQL and database technologies, for example SQL Server, Snowflake, etcgood understanding of DOC's AWS infrastructure designgood understanding of source systems and data sets like those present at DOC.Te Papa Atawhai is committed to fostering a diverse workforce that represents the communities we serve, creating an inclusive workplace culture, supporting the relationship between Maori and the Crown, and lifting our cultural capability.
