We are looking for Analytics Developer or Business Intelligence Developer (BI Developer) to join our Analytics team on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you will work closely with Subject Matter experts, Project Managers, IS Operations and Development teams to provide Data and Analytics services.Responsibilities for this role include :Carrying out a range of data and analytics and data warehouse development activities to support a variety of projects through ETL development, database design and data modellingBuilding data and analytics solutions including data visualisation and reportingSupporting all systems to maintain a high standard of data quality and providing advice / support for projectsWorking closely with external service providersIf you thrive on translating business requirements to solution design and implementation, are self-motivated and have proven relationship building skills, then we want to hear from you!These roles are based at our Dunsandel site, with the flexibility to work from our central Christchurch city office at times.QualificationTertiary qualifications in Information Technology, or a related disciplineProfessional technical certification / qualificationsSkills and Experience5+ years' experience in BI, Data Warehouse, ETL, and Data Solutions including analysis, data modelling, solution design, development, and reporting.5+ years' experience on Microsoft BI Stack SQL Server / SSIS / SSAS / SSRS is essential.5+ years' experience using Power BI, Power Query, MDX, DAX and Power BI Gateway.2+ years' experience on Azure Data Factory, and Data Lakes.Experience in Dimensional Modelling / Star Schema Design.Experience of working in an agile development environment, love working with people and distributed teams and demonstrate great communication skills.Previous experience in working at a manufacturing organisation.Previous knowledge on data mining, data management, descriptive and predictive analytics, machine learning and visualisation would be an advantage.Experience with SAP BW / 4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, or knowledge on SAP functional modules and its integration is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
