Data Engineering Manager (12-month Fixed Term Contract)We've begun delivery on our large transformation programme of work replacing our core systems. We're looking for someone to lead our Data Engineering Team for the next 12 months to work as a part of our Transformation Programme full-time.
This role will be reporting to the Head of Enterprise Data & Architecture where you will provide leadership and guidance to our current team. Your expertise will provide direction, clarity and inspiration to the team, allowing them to deliver to the best of their abilities and develop their skills. You will be kept busy with:
Driving the Data Warehouse to support reporting and analytical processesProviding strategic and technical direction for the Data Warehouse environment and data provision capabilitiesManaging the backlog of BAU initiatives and requests to support reporting and data deliverables and deadlinesManaging the state of BI infrastructure and communicating the impact on respective reports, data and analysisCollaborating closely with the Reporting & Analytics Team to ensure data requirements are delivered in a timely and effective mannerRemoving roadblocks to allow the Data Engineering Team to deliver successfullyA bit about you: You're the kind of person that can inspire and guide your team.
