Day to day the role will see you: Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Synapse AnalyticsDiagnose and troubleshoot existing data pipelines and reports, providing seamless support for end usersDocument essential business processes, code, pipeline lineage, and metadataTransform complex business challenges into BI solutions, guiding the entire process from requirement gathering to data discovery and solution designCraft compelling visualizations using Power BI to convey data-driven insightsAdvocate and instill best data practices across the companyConduct end-user training on report access and empower super users with the skills to harness data from the warehouse effectivelySkills and attributes we are looking for: Proven experience in creating and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, with a preference for expertise in Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.Solid T-SQL skills and adept at data modeling, particularly in Star Schema.Proficiency in visualizing and analyzing data using Power BI and Excel, with comfort in using DAX and Power QueryExceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a talent for data storytellingMastery of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly ExcelTrack record of thriving in cross-functional project teamsStrong work ethic, team player mentality, and the ability to work autonomouslyYou will be joining an equally hardworking and fun team, who are motivated to work hard all while having a laugh.
