Data Developer / Ict Support

Our mission is to provide better veterinarian services for rural NZ, and to help us make sure we are one step ahead, we’re on the hunt for a personable IT professional with a passion for Technical Data Development, combined with an affinity to assist our teams with the use of technology through our in-house Information Services help-desk.
The role can be based in either Dunedin or Invercargill; with regular travel required across the Otago and Southland regions, and potential travel to other parts of NZ.
To be the right fit for us, you will be adaptable, like to get the job done right, and be willing to go that extra mile for the people you work with. We’re an animal and people place, so being familiar and comfortable with animals, agriculture and people is fundamental.
We need someone to work across both our Data and Information Services teams, in a multi-disciplinary role. Most of the time you’ll be undertaking technical data development and SQL coding for our key Data projects, working with our Data Owner and Database providers. Some of the time we’ll need you to work alongside our Information Services helpdesk, providing general IT support for our staff.
We’re a close knit team, who love what we do. We aim to deliver the best ICT services for our colleagues and clients (and their animals). And we’re in it together to support each other when things come down to the wire!
