CX Developer / Mail House Developer Location: Wellington

The role:
You will be a vital member of the data team, designing and developing applications using both packaged software programs and custom-built scripts. These applications enable you to manipulate and format large amounts of data across various communication channels, including print, direct mail, and electronic direct mail items. You will oversee multiple projects, beginning with virtual conception to its physical formatting, including all testing phases.
Responsibilities: Manipulate and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with data quality standards.Utilise Quadient Inspire, and other software systems and processes, to format and structure variable data elements within direct mail and electronic DM items according to project requirements and design specifications.Design, develop and build templates for various types of campaigns, ensuring flexibility and scalability for future projects.Application of business logic rules to ensure the structured and consistent execution of workflows.Use rules-based logic to develop structured workflows that streamline processes and improve efficiency.Manipulation and processing data to achieve the desired output and reporting on the data as required.Maintaining the integrity of the data worked, ensuring accuracy and reliability throughout the process.Consistently looking for ways to improve and automate existing and new workflows.Coming up with creative and innovative ways to solve clients' needs and challenges. About you: Demonstrated expertise in using Quadient Inspire (or similar document composition software) is a must have, for variable data document composition and development.A relevant technical qualification is preferred or a solid track record with relevant industry experience.Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, XML or SQL is required.3- 5years of experience in using document composition software in manipulation and formulation of data with variable end users.Experience in a Mail house environment is beneficial.Able to deal with clients and colleagues with confidence.Someone who is innovative, forward-thinking and who can work well in a team.
