The Data and Reporting Analyst will be working withthe programme and operational teams to provide analytics solutions, data setsand data-based evidence to drive decision-making, testing and acceptance ofactivity driven by the Holidays Act Compliance Programme.
The role will perform data analysis across the people-systems data setas well as create reports to ensure ongoing compliance.
In assuming this responsibility, the role enables theprogramme team to be an effective and valued partner of the business andsupports the business to achieve its goals.
You will be responsible for: Carrying out dataanalysis as per programme requirements and priorities, using people data andmetrics from various HR applicationsWorking with projectteams and subject matter experts to develop data solutions and analysis toinform and progress project deliveryProducing data setsand documents to meet national accountability requirementsCreating reports usingcommon analytical reporting toolsMaintainingrelationships with key users of people-related informationProviding data analysisand proactively building the capability of the wider HR Shared Services teamPerforming otherduties considered to be within the scope of this role.Significant experienceanalysing, investigating, and interpreting dataStrong expertise inreporting and data visualization tools such as Power BIProficiency in SQL,particularly Microsoft SQL Server, for data manipulation and queryingStrong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with attention to detailExcellentinterpersonal and communication skillsHighly organised,dependable, and self-motivated.Relevant tertiaryqualificationUnderstanding of theNew Zealand Health sectorExperience with HRmetrics and people dataExperience with toolssuch as R or Python would be a bonusExperience withMicrosoft SQL Server Reporting Services."Ko nga tangata, te matua mahi - Putting people at the heart of all we do" We are committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangiand its principles by ensuring our partnership with Maori are at the forefrontof all our conversations. We believe in improving, promoting, andprotecting the health and well-being of the Canterbury and the West Coastcommunity.
