Mo te tunga | About the roleAs part of the Directorate of Organisational Development, the Op RESPECT team is responsible for implementing a 20 year strategy and work programme designed to enhance the NZDF's management of and response to harmful and inappropriate behaviours. This includes embedding a culture that is safe, respectful and inclusive that enhances operational effectiveness and improves individual experiences and overall wellbeing.As the Data Analyst Op RESPECT you will initially support the Op RESPECT Business Analyst to design and deliver a coordinated and integrated data and IT system for Op RESPECT. Once delivered you will run the system to monitor, collate, analyse and report on NZDF data in order to inform the Op RESPECT programme and Senior Leadership. You will draw data from a variety of different sources, including Military Police, Defence Health, Safety, Complaints, Estate and Infrastructure and Human Resources.Your analysis will be a critical part of providing strategic planning guidance to the Op RESPECT Team to ensure the NZDF is progressing toward achieving the Op RESPECT vision.This role is based in Wellington in Defence House. Once you have undergone induction and orientation to the role, there is the option of working from home up to 2 days a week.Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and ExperienceWe're looking for an experienced Data Analyst with great communication skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful information for a wide audience.
