Representing the farm manager, you'll lead by example with your good animal health knowledge, robust planning and pasture management skills, feed budgeting, and your mentoring abilities.You'll also work closely with the farm team to ensure continued success, leading the dairy assistants, casuals and contractors to deliver and develop.The FarmWingpoint Dairy is a 330 effective ha block, milking 850 cows twice a day through a 70-bail rotary, situated 15 minutes from Martinborough and 20 minutes south of Featherston.About YouIt's essential you have strong dairy skills and knowledge and you're a team player with high standards for cleanliness and production. You'll also have strong leadership and motivation skills, a first-class attitude to Health and Safety, animal welfare and environmental management, and proven knowledge of grazing and pasture management, feed budgeting and profit maximisation.You'll have the full support of an experienced farm manager and the opportunity to draw on your own experience to add to the continual improvements that are made on farm.BenefitsThis role comes with a 4 bedroom house on-farm.
